Lluïsa Jover is a professor emeritus at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. She has worked in different schools, colleges and universities, giving courses, seminars and master’s degree classes, in Spain and in other countries.
Lluïsa has published as an author and as an illustrator, many books and illustrated books for adults, young and children, working with publishing companies such as Alfaguara, Anaya, Baula, Cruïlla, Ed 62, Edhasa, La Galera, Proa, etc. She is also the author of several books on artistic education.
She has been awarded with several prizes, as well as she has been selected in the fairs of Bologna and Bratislava. She also works in printmaking, ceramics, glass objects and mixed techniques.
As a press illustrator she has worked for diverse newspapers and magazines, such as El País, Avui, Offarm, Janus, Vista School, etc.
During her career, Lluïsa Jover has collaborated in publishing projects with prestigious writers such as Bryce Echenique, Antonio Gala, García Márquez, Espido Freire, Nestor Lujan, Carme Riera, Francisco Umbral and Vazquez Montalban.
Lluïsa has also been involved with different groups related to Arts and she has been jury of illustration contests.
