María Titos

Illustrator, born in Spain, María Titos graduated in Fine Arts in the University of Seville in 1999.

She moved to Barcelona in the year 2001, where she stills lives up to date. She has combined different work options that cover design and illustration, making her an experienced illustrator.

From 2004 to 2006, she contributed to Isabel Coixet’s weekly column for the Sunday newspaper of the Periódico de Catalunya and she currently keep illustrating for such newspaper. She has also developed projects for the Ark Gallery Studio, as well as for other communication and marketing companies. In 2009, she has begun a new collaboration with the magazine Psychologies. In this way, María has been able to incorporate her work in digital and printed media, and also in publicity and press.

She has participated in the illustrated dictionary Mis primeras 80,000 palabras, published by Media Vaca (a selection of 231 illustrators and graphic artists from more than 20 different countries). María has also contributed with her illustrations in Cuentos y relatos breves escritos por jóvenes, 2004-2006, issued in 2006 and in Calendario Poético 2006 de Mario Benedetti, published by Ediciones Granica.

Her first picture book Papá se va de viaje, with text of Daniel Nesquens, has been published y the French publishing house Rouergue.
