Manuel Brugarolas lives and works in Barcelona.

He is the author of three novels: El grito (The Scream) Safari and L’any del te (The Year of Tea).

He has also ventured into the world of short stories with the books El qui empeny l’amor per la finestra (Throwing Love out the Window) El regal del mariner (The Seaman’s Present) y Banquet cannìbal (Cannibal Banquet).

Los conejos sabios (The Wise Rabbits) is his first incursion into the world of crossover illustrated books.
